THE DRESS

A documentary film-performance exploring how women are tamed and resist societal expectations. Made alongside the performance work TAMED, the film follows the creation of a community-made wedding dress, capturing the stories, creativity, and voices of the women involved.

Shot in and featuring Great Yarmouth, the project blends intimate observation with collaborative storytelling, highlighting both the constraints women face and the ways they assert agency, playfulness and rebellion.
