Non-linear and genre-blurring, our work straddles theatre, movement, clown and film — blending the stripped back and intimate with the theatrical, mythical and epic.

We create original works drawing on the personal, political and experimental, with a focus on exploring lesser known perspectives; the unheard, the silenced, the under and the mis- represented. We strip back, delve in, deconstruct and re-imagine the narratives that we think that we know; subverting expectations and challenging the status quo. We find the absurd in the ordinary, the poetic in the everyday and the epic in the mundane.

A lot of our work investigates power structures, social norms and our relationship to the systems that we belong to.

We often devise with, and from the autobiographical, and we are increasingly working with documentary forms in our process and performance works. We are interested in the how the everyday can be situated in the theatrical, and vice versa.

We seek out non-traditional spaces to present our work, exploring how audiences interact with it, and developing new models of making and touring that integrate more substantially into communities.
