FLIGHT

Flight makes original theatre, performance, film and installation that is personal, political and experimental. Our work is rooted in a feminist enquiry into how we conform to and rebel against power structures and dominant narratives.

 

Visually and physically driven, playful, surreal and audacious. Blending theatre, dance, clown and documentary, we bring together the everyday and the theatrical, the poetic and the silly, the recognisable and the extraordinary. Image-rich and non-linear in form, our work often sits outside traditional performance spaces, challenging expectations of how and where stories are told.

We create collaboratively with artists, performers and communities, seeing our practice as both an act of community and a form of playful, poetic activism.
